Three Dimensional Photo Holders

Who says you can’t break the rules when it comes to displaying your favorite photos?

I love it when I visit friend’s homes to discover wonderful ways they have chosen to display their family pictures.

This idea, for example is very simple and effective. Plain, clear cylinders and vases can be transformed into amazing photo holders for living room coffee tables and bedrooms and it’s a wonderful idea for a modern d├ęcor.

It’s best to gather an assortment of small, clear vases from a local department store or florist. I find the local florists have the best selection of smaller, beautifully shaped vases.

Begin by printing out some of your favorite photos either in black and white or colour. For monochromatic rooms I find the black and white photos display the best. You can find photographic, glossy paper at Staples and London Drugs if you wish to print your own.

Once you have chosen two or three different size and shaped vases, measure out the size of the photo that you would like to place inside. Trim the photo of any wide edges.

Be sure your vases are clean of any dirt or debris and place the photos inside the vases.

Display in sets of three or five on a coffee table or living room side table.

This is also a really nice way to give a photo as a gift. Print out a favorite photo of the recipient and present it in a beautiful vase. A nice multipurpose gift.
