For my son’s junior graduation memento, I created a “graduation cap” favour.

I purchased 3 1/2″ black jewelry boxes online.  Using a 3″ round sticker label for the inside of the lid, I designed text that read “Smartie Pants! Class of 2014″ and filled each box with Smarties.  I cut self-adhesive 8 1/2″ x 11″ black foamy sheets into 4 1/2″ squares.  With miniature tassels, which are readily available at your local fabric store and a large eye needle, you can thread the tassel string through to the sticky side of the 4 1/2” foam and then affix it to the jewelry box.
