Along with goody bags each year I sit down with each of my children and help them create a valentine card for each of their classmates, nothing elaborate because the task should be fun and not arduous or onerous. This year we found some keys in the local craft store that were on sale for an amazing price and seeing that we needed “50” it worked out being very economical. We then agreed how we were going to use the symbol of the key in the written content of the card and this is what we came up with.
Valentine’s Day Cards
- Red Cardstock Notecard Sets c/w envelopes
- Key Embellishments
- Red Glitter Hearts [self adhesive]
- Zots glue dots
Design the written content of the card and print onto note card. Place glue dots on each end of the key and center on the inside upper portion of the card. On the front outside of the card center the self adhesive glitter heart and Voila!
Written Content of Card:
The key to having a good friend
is being a good friend
Happy Valentine’s Day my friend
